Letters to the Editor

Issue Date - 24/11/2011

An eye opener
I was recently travelling from Mumbai to Delhi when I got hold of the Business & Economy magazine issue titled, ďAre Indian banks ready for Crisis part -II?Ē Though one of my friends had recommended me the magazine in the past, I hadnít got hold of it. But after reading the magazine, I agree that it was a mistake I made. It was an eye opener on the financial stability of our country and the entire package kept me glued to it till the time I finished it entirely. It clearly highlighted how our economy is gradually moving towards another financial crisis. Exclusive interviews from industry people made the BFSI package supreme. I generally prefer national stories and I enjoyed going through the Samsung story. But after going through the package, I must say that short and crisp news briefs in B&E fortnight and international columns from prominent business schools like HBS and University of Chicago made the entire package par excellence and at par with many of the international business magazines. I will surely look forward to stay updated with your magazine.

Analytical &Refreshing
I always prefer magazines that have write-ups on case studies, new ideas in various sectors and special issues on corporate themes. Business & Economy magazine has always been on the top of my reading list. It brings out stories that are very analytical and gives a refreshing perspective to its readers. There is no section in the magazine, which is difficult to read or understand. I like the Stratagem stories as they help me in forming my opinions. It is the most informative section of the magazine having both Indian and international relevance. I congratulate the team for bringing different sectors and industry leaders to the same platform to share their insights.
