Letters to The Editor

Issue Date - 10/11/2011

Astonishing content
Although I might not have a regular access to the hard copy of Business & Economy magazine, nevertheless I do keep myself abreast with the web version. Luckily, I was able to get my hands on the issue dated October 13, 2011, titled “Reponsible leadership”. The cover story highlighting renowned gurus of the management world, Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri, Prof. Nitin Nohria and also Prof. J. J. Irani on how the leaders think and make their way against the hurdles they come across in their lives was truly astonishing. Not to forget Mr. Kris Gopalakrishnan, and his expert advice on how a responsible leader of the corporate world inspires the boardroom and his team outside. The entire issue was a great package that depicted the sheer brilliance of your editorial team in coordinating the discussions of highly inspirational people of their respective fields. Additionally, I find the international stratagem section to be one of the best as it covers the happenings from around the world. I wish you luck to keep enthralling us with such issues.

Mr. Sachin Joshi Executive Director & CFO Angel Broking

Completely surprised
I lately received the copy of “Business & Economy” magazine and was a complete surprise for me. Though I never got an opportunity to go through an Indian magazine and felt skeptical about the content of the issue, but once I started flipping the magazine, I realized that it certainly matched the world standards, and in many areas was ahead of the international magazines too. Great presentation skills were the highlight of the magazine. Also, intellectually built sections covering international and national sections in your magazine were interesting as reflected the great amount of research that had been put in. I will look forward to see your perspective with your online issues as well in future. Wish you luck for your future issues.

Prof. Linda L. Darragh Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Booth School of Business
